2018 EQUIP CAMP
Plans are underway for our 2018 Equip Camp for all students. Camp will be held Monday June 18th to Friday June 22nd, 2018 in Sonora, California. Camp again will feature special speakers and a week of fellowship with 20 plus other local church youth groups from California and Nevada gathering together. Please plan to attend.
Campers may only register through a registered participating church and must come with that church who are providing the counselors. Camp is for students in those churches ages 12-18 and entering 7th grade to graduating high school. Registration closes June 1st.
CAMP OFFICALLY BEGINS at 3pm on Monday June 18th and ENDS at 11AM on Friday, June 22nd, 2018
5:30PM is first dinner meal. Friday 8AM Breakfast is last camp meal. Camp ends at 11AM. Eat lunch on way home.
WHAT TO BRING FOR CAMPERS: Bible, Pens, Notebook, Pillow, Sleeping Bag, Small Flashlight, Bath Towel and Swim Towel, Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant), Clothes for WARM days and COOL nights, Closed-toe shoes for rec games, slippers or flip-flops for the pool, Swimsuit (one piece for the ladies with board shorts), sunscreen, water bottle, and some extra money for lunch on the way in and on the way out of camp, snacks sold at camp during free time.
Free time optional activities of zip line, archery, ropes course, climbing walls and paintball will be available for additional cost of $5-$35 (paintball). There is a snack shack selling different snack items at free times. There will also be camp and apparel for sale during the week.
WHAT NOT TO BRING: Electronics, Non-Prescription drugs, (Prescription drugs must be given to medical staff at check in with doctor’s note), weapons of any kind, and anything else that your school, mom, dad or grandma wouldn’t want you having at camp!
Our speaker for camp this year is Pastor Angelo Tolentino from Redeemer Bible Church in Oceanside.
